What your child is learning
Money is limited. Choices have consequences.
In the workbook's own words: the goal is not a child who never makes a money mistake — it's a child who can think, ask, choose and try again. Prosper™ guides each section; your child does the choosing.
An allowance with a plan
The Allowance Ladder, family jobs and a weekly "My Money This Week" record turn pocket money from a handout into practice.
Spend, Save, Share — with choices
Savings goals with steps and check-ins, so a goal reached feels earned rather than given.
Smart wanting
The Wait List, Before I Buy, and the Advert Detective — including a first family rule for games, apps and digital money.
Fairness & feelings
"Fair doesn't always mean same", different families make different plans, and money mistakes are practice — complete with a Money Do-Over.
Real-life challenges
Four small missions: plan a snack, shop with a list, find the better fit, enjoy what we already have.
A four-week check-in
A gentle month of noticing what was practised, what felt easy and what to try next — then a progress map to celebrate it.
Inside the workbook
Forty-eight pages of doing, not being told.
Three kinds of pages carry the whole book: "Prosper Says" read-aloud pages, activity pages your child owns, and short For Grown-Ups notes for you. The method is four steps: pick one page, try it in real life, talk about what happened, come back when you're ready.
Real pages from the final edition, shown at reduced size.
Format & delivery
The workbook, three ways — plus eight tools.

How families use it
A few minutes together, once a week, is enough.
That line is from the workbook itself, and it's the whole rhythm. Pick one page. Try it in real life — at the shop, at pocket-money time, in front of an advert. Talk about what happened. Come back when you're ready. The workbook is deliberately mistake-friendly: every activity is practice, not a test.
Why not free worksheets?
Worksheets fill time. This builds a habit.
Generic activity sheets teach coin-counting. This teaches deciding: what's worth waiting for, what an advert is doing, why fair isn't always the same, and what to do after a money mistake. Every page connects to the same Spend–Save–Share language your child met (or will meet) in the earlier stage — and hands over cleanly to the digital-money years at 10–12.
It's the Ages 6–9 companion to Raising Money-Confident Kids. The book gives you the method; this puts it in your child's hands.
Age fit
Is 6–9 the right stage?
Choose this band once your child is making real choices with real (small) money — pocket money, gift money, the shop counter. Still mostly play and feelings? Start with Ages 3–5. Already deep in game currencies and subscriptions? Ages 10–12 takes over from here.

Questions
Parents usually ask.
How is this different from the Ages 3–5 workbook?
Same method, older child. The jars grow into an allowance plan with jobs and goals; play grows into real-life challenges; and new ground appears — adverts, fairness, digital money and money mistakes. Prosper is still there, just a little more grown up.
Does my child work through it alone?
Mostly with you, increasingly on their own. "Prosper Says" pages are designed to be read together; many activity pages are your child's to own. Short For Grown-Ups notes keep you in the loop without hovering.
What exactly do I download?
The workbook in three editions — fillable, print A4 and print US Letter — plus all eight printable tools in print and fillable versions, in both paper sizes.
Does it use pounds or dollars?
Neither — the activities are currency-neutral by design, so the workbook works identically in the UK, US, Europe, Australia or anywhere else. Your family's own money supplies the numbers.
Can I fill it in on a tablet?
Yes. Tap a line and type, tap a box to tick it, tap a choice to circle it, then save. It works in Adobe Acrobat Reader, Apple Preview and most phone and tablet PDF apps. If a file opens in a web browser and won't let you type, download it first and open it in a PDF app.
What if we miss a few weeks?
Nothing breaks. There's no schedule to fall behind on — the four-week check-in starts whenever you do, and every page waits patiently.
Do I need the parent book first?
No — the workbook stands alone. Raising Money-Confident Kids adds the parent-side method and language if you want the deeper why.
Small choices now. Steady confidence later.
